Entry Level Warehouse and Office Support 

Start Date: February to early March 

Full-time Hourly, 40 hours per week, starting at $16.00/hr

Monday- Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility to start earlier

Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off after 60 day evaluation period

 

Location: Bivens Rd., Monroe, NC 28110 

 

Dress code: Closed toe sneakers or boots and comfortable casual clothing that will get permanent stains from occasional spills, etc.


Skills and Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to view colors and shades and see differences in color samples is a primary requirement of the position. 

English proficiency required. Spanish bilingual is a plus. 

Math, measuring, and accurate computer data entry in a timely manner needed.

Ability to communicate clearly in a positive tone to other staff as well as with customers on the phone and in emails is emphasized. 


Experience: No experience required, will train on the job 


Primary duties include but not limited to: 

Basic customer interactions on the phone or email. 

Taking orders and payments from phone, email or online websites. 

Maintain stock and supply inventory in office and warehouse. 

Data input, preparing and processing for daily operations and shipments. 

Printing invoices, labels and other paperwork as needed for operations. 

Lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). 

Prep, pack, and label materials and liquids into finished goods and prepare for stock or shipment. 

Physical activity of walking, standing, bending and lifting throughout the work day.

Operate pallet jacks, item carts, dollies and possibly fork lift. 

Assist with loading, unloading and processing paperwork for deliveries and shipments.

Troubleshoot basic printer or computer issues.

Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues or maintenance on simple machinery in warehouse. 

Keeping all work areas clean, preparing systems to sit idle (basic shut-down maintenance), restarting systems at the beginning of the workday.
